Entertainment is a form of recreation that involves engaging in activities for enjoyment and relaxation. It may include watching movies or television, listening to music, reading books, playing sports or games and viewing or creating visual art.
Entertainment stimulates the brain to realease seratonin and dopamine. It can also stimulate a persons empathy, which is an important part of understanding the social world that humans were evolved to react deeply to. A lot of entertainment themes such as backstabbing, murder and other forms of social manipulation hit on these deep feelings that the human mind was shaped to understand.
When writing an entertainment article, start by researching the topic. Look for biographical information about the person or event that you are writing about. If possible, interview the subject of the article. If not, watch the person on talk shows or other public events to see what they are doing and how they are promoting their work. Be careful about making accusations or implications of wrongdoing against a celebrity in an entertainment article as this could lead to legal action such as libel.
